How does variable data printing work?

What do I need to set up a VDP print run?
Once you have your artwork and CSV file ready, the next step is to upload them into your variable data printing software. This software will allow you to combine the two files, so that all the unique information from the spreadsheet is merged with the static elements of your artwork.
